How do I obtain a vehicle release?
If your vehicle was impounded by the Aston Township Police please follow the appropriate steps listed below:
- Have the vehicle owner report to Aston Police Headquarters during normal business hours (Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Bring a copy of valid driver’s license, registration and insurance
- If the vehicle owner does not possess a valid driver’s license please bring a properly licensed driver.
- Upon completion, bring the form to the tow service that is in possession of your vehicle.
The Aston Township Police does not collect fees related to tow and housing costs. These fees must be settled with the tow agency upon completion of the Vehicle Release Form.

What is the curfew in Aston?
The Aston Township curfew ordinance prohibits minors from being in public places from 9:30 pm until dawn
Sunday through Thursday and from 11 pm to dawn on Friday and Saturday nights. Violators could be cited and
required to pay a fine up to $300 plus court costs.
