The Aston Township Police Department provides emergency services to the residents of Aston Township around the clock. The department is comprised of twenty full time officers, six part time officers, and two police secretaries who all operate under the leadership of Chief Dan Ruggieri.
The mission of the Aston Township Police Department is to provide our citizens with the best quality service based on high ethical and moral standards. The success of our mission depends on our commitment in maintaining a higher level of trust and understanding among the police officers and the community we serve. Furthermore it is paramount we forge a partnership with the residents and business owners in an effort to solve problems facing our community.
In furthering this partnership we promise to protect life, liberty, property, and impartially enforce all laws. We are further committed to enhancing the quality of life, reducing the fear of crime and preserving peace within our community.
